We are looking for an enthousiastic Distribution Employee at our production location in
Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht!
What does your job as Distribution Employee at Florensis entail?
As a Distribution Employee you can carry out all common activities in the Distribution & Trayhandling department The core task lies in hte daily organization of the exit control of the preparation for shipment process as well as the organization of loading and unloading the trucks that transport the products for our customers and return the empty carts. You will be involved in (among other things):
- Exit control at the scan gates;
- Manage and train staff;
- Setting out and picking up trays;
- Distributing trays on delivery carts;
- Counting of incoming and outgoing flows of cc carts, plates and attachments;
- Proactively contribute to adapting and improving the work;
- Processing of orders for unrooted cuttings that are prepared for transport from our cold store.
As we work with a living product, the tasks vary throughout the year, depending on the season. All in all, this is a job full of variety!
You form part of the Distribution & Trayhandling department, which consists of you and seven colleagues. The team members are well attuned to each other and are always happy to help each other. We work hard, but there is always time for fun, there is a good atmosphere! You report to the Head of Distribution & Trayhandling.
About you
You have completed a logistics course at secondary vocational level (Dutch mbo), or the equivalent level of professional and intellectual ability developed through practical experience;
You have a good command of spoken and written Dutch and English;
Flexibility to work outside regular working hours during the high season (weekend shifts);
In possession of a forklift certificate or the willingness to obtain one;
You are flexible and focussed on collaboration.
