We are looking for an enthusiastic, eager-to-learn Operator for our location in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht!
What does an operator do at Florensis?
Florensis is an international producer of plant material for professional growers. For our location in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, we are looking for an Operator who supports both the logistics process and the sowing process. You are a key link in the entire chain: from cleaning and reusing trays to setting up and operating our sowing machines. In this way, you contribute to efficient and high-quality production.
What will you do?
Supervise the return process of trays and carts;
Operate, clean, and maintain the automated washing installation;
Set up and operate sowing machines in the sowing department;
Monitor machine performance and progress, adjust when necessary;
Prevent and resolve first-line malfunctions;
Use a forklift for internal transport of trays;
Provide work instructions to temporary staff and collaborate with colleagues;
Proactively contribute ideas for improvements in work processes.
What do we expect from you?
Supervise the return process of trays and carts;
Affinity with technology;
Forklift certificate (or willingness to obtain one through us);
Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
You work day shifts and are willing to work evening, night, or weekend shifts during busy periods;
You are hands-on, practical, and enjoy working as part of a team.
