We are looking for a driven and quality-oriented Grower at our production location in Dinteloord!
What does your job as Grower at Florensis entail?
As a grower, you are responsible for crop cultivation and daily plant care, such as watering. In close collaboration with the Production Location Planner and the Cultivation Specialist, you work to achieve optimal crop quality and greenhouse occupancy. You also assist with (minor, technical) maintenance tasks. You monitor plant growth and identify abnormalities or growth issues. Additionally, you are involved in biological crop protection and disease control. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that our customers receive only the very best products.
Sustainability is a top priority within the department. The challenge is to continue innovating in order to reduce the use of crop protection products while maintaining the same high quality.
About you
MBO (intermediate vocational) working and thinking level with a completed agricultural education;
You hold Spraying License 1 or are willing to obtain it;
Experience with climate control systems and irrigation equipment is a plus;
You are hands-on and able to work independently;
You have strong communication skills and a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
You are willing to work one weekend shift per month, in coordination with your colleagues;
