We are looking for a driven and quality-oriented Cultivation Employee at our production location in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht!
What does your job as Cultivation Employee at Florensis entail?
As a Cultivation Employee you are involved in cultivation and day-to-day crop care, such as watering the crop. In close consultation with the Production Location Planner and the Cultivation Specialist, you achieve optimum crop quality and greenhouse use. You will also work on (small-scale, technical) maintenance. You monitor crop growth and identify abnormalities or growth disturbances. You are also involved in biological crop protection and disease control.
You will be part of an enthusiastic, motivated team of ten colleagues. The atmosphere is open and relaxed; colleagues trust and help each other. Even though work pressure can be sometimes high, our team spirit is excellent! Sustainability is high on the agenda at the department. The challenge is to continue to reduce the use of crop protection products, while delivering the same quality.
About you
- MBO working and thinking level and a completed agricultural education;
You have spraying license 1 or are willing to obtain it;
The ability to operate a climate computer and irrigation equipment would be an advantage;
- You are a strong communicator and have a good command of spoken and written Dutch;
- You are prepared to take on a weekend shift about once a month (in colloaboration with colleagues);
- You know how to tackle things;
- You enjoy working in a close team.
