We are looking for a driven and quality-oriented Cultivation Employee at our production location in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht!
For our trial garden in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, we are looking for a Grower who enjoys variety and likes working with both show material and propagation crops.

What does your job as Grower at Florensis entail?
As a Grower, you are responsible for the cultivation and daily care of crops in our trial garden. Your work is varied and includes, among other things:
Daily crop care, such as watering, scouting, and adjusting the climate;
Monitoring crops for growth, development, and any irregularities;
Identifying growth disturbances and diseases;
Implementing and monitoring biological crop protection;
Assisting with minor (technical) maintenance;
Working together with your colleagues to ensure the optimal presentation and health of the trials and breeding crops.
Sustainability is a top priority within the department. The challenge is to continue innovating in order to reduce the use of crop protection products while maintaining the same high quality.
About you
MBO (intermediate vocational) working and thinking level with a completed agricultural education;
You hold Spraying License 1 or are willing to obtain it;
Experience with climate control systems and irrigation equipment is a plus;
You are hands-on and able to work independently;
You have strong communication skills and a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
You are willing to work one weekend shift per month, in coordination with your colleagues;
